What exactly do we do?
3@1 Business Centre franchisees offer consultative personalised service in a professional, user-friendly, environment incorporating broad format print, plan printing, colour/mono print, copies, International DHL and local courier, kodak photographic services, web & graphic design and secretarial services as well as packaging, computer time rental, binding, laminating, image transfer etc. via a progressive business model. Today there are no geographic boundaries due to the web and social media. The 3@1 business & franchise model gives you the ability to produce work, deliver and collect print and anything else, anywhere in the world ensuring that the concept stays ahead in the market place!

Additionally, 3@1 enables our customers to download the KODAK MOMENTS photographic app and then easily edit and manipulate photos before printing them themselves; they can also assemble and print photobooks on the spot, and with a few clicks put a collage together for immediate print via the in-store wide format printers.

What does the franchise package provide, or support offered?
Total setup cost can vary slightly, depending on the size of the proposed location, and covers a franchise joining fee, set up cost, training, site selection assistance, store design & shop fitting legal fees and supplies and inventory.

Training provided is comprehensive and consists of on the ground training focused on marketing, sales, product and services knowledge, operating procedures, staffing, business management and customer service complete operational guidelines. All 3@1 Business Centre franchisees are provided with an operational manual including a promotional marketing manual which is designed to help you get your franchise off to a great start.   To support your local marketing effort, it has many examples of creative materials like flags and banners, posters, leaflets, emailers, social media and other templates that you can use to put together your six-month print, web and social media marketing plan to get you going.

Full turnkey opening includes an economically designed shop layout in sites from 30sqm and covers specialised project management, instore training in all aspects of the business, hands on in-store opening and continued support, instore training and post launch back-up, equipment and shopfitting, computerised POS, uniforms & name-badges, opening promotional flyers and business cards.

Finances:   
UK Store Setup is between £70 -100 000 plus Vat depending on size and location. The price includes all franchise related fees and complete turnkey build-out, all equipment except for printer copiers & wide format printers as these items are rented with service contracts. The cost excludes rental deposits, working capital and cost of transport for outlying areas in Southern Africa

When opening your 3@1 Business Centre you benefit from a low franchise joining fee of £70-100 000 plus Vat and only 5 % royalties. A simple but effective business model and relative low cost of sales of 35% with a proven healthy 3-year ROI of 34% is far greater when compared to the ROI of a standard capital investment at a financial institution at 8% or investing in the markets. In addition to the return on investment, you as franchisee will be able to draw a salary and have acquired a business with future value after break even.

Individual or area options are available in all areas throughout Africa and UK and will be determined according to the demographics of an area and expandability of the concept within the geographical territory.

3@1 Franchising has produced a solid franchise model by which it has produced many successful local and distant retail franchises in Southern Africa including stores in Namibia, Uganda and Zambia where the start of 26 conversions of the POSTDOTNET group is ongoing.  The 3@1 Business Centre franchise brand aims to establish in Lesotho, Botswana, Kenya and Tanzania too.
