Prepare to become a franchisee: all the franchising info you need to know

Before entering the potentially lucrative franchise business, book a seat at the 1st Full on Franchising Theatre at BEFE.

At the Business Entrepreneurship and Franchise Expo 2015, presented in partnership with Eskom, entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to research hundreds of business opportunities, including many top franchise opportunities.

To help prospective franchisees understand  a variety of franchise models, important strategic considerations and the laws regulating franchises, SA Franchise Warehouse and BEFE will present the ‘Full on Franchising Theatre: In Business Forever’ Theatre, hosting  in-depth strategic  workshops throughout the four days of the expo.

Buying a franchise is an exciting opportunity to build your new business on the successes of an established brand.  But not all franchise models are the same, and not all opportunities are all they appear to be.

Belinda Bradley, Training and development director at SA Franchise Warehouse, says it is easy to get carried away by big franchise opportunities. “But many people don’t realise that not all franchise models are the same. There are important questions they need to ask before they sign up for a new franchise opportunity, to ensure they are fully prepared and don’t get their fingers burnt,” she says.

The Full on Franchising Theatre sessions will include a ‘Franchising 101’ talk, giving attendees an overview of a variety of franchising models; an in-depth look at the legalities of franchising by attorney Pieter Swanepoel; and beneficial discussions on how to evaluate and fund a franchise.

These in-depth workshops are designed to get entrepreneurs started, or growing in the world of franchising. Attendees will also have an opportunity to discuss exciting franchise opportunities with some of South Africa’s best-known brands.

DELEGATES: The event is set to attract pre-qualified prospective franchisee buyers. Places are limited at the Full on Franchising Theatre, with a registration fee of R200 pp per person. To register your interest in attending this important workshop, click here.

WHAT BEFE EXHIBITORS HAVE TO SAY:

“It’s been phenomenal. We secured nearly 200 quality contacts and net a number of potential clients. We even managed to sell alarm installations onsite. It’s been awesome. Even though we advertise everywhere we’ve managed to get more leads in the past 4 days that than all the months of advertising combined. It’s worth it”

“We have been very busy” People want information about franchising, and we are able to advise them, which was one of our goals. The expo has been good”
– Taste Holdings

“… There is a better quality visitor in attendance. Normally we found that visitors has to borrow more capital, which makes looking to open a business less sustainable, but this year we have met visitors who have the necessary capital. The show has been brilliant, so much so, that we are planning to motivate the other brands under our umbrella to look at joining next year. Best show ever”
