Clamber Club has taken top honours in the African EduWeek Awards, winning Supplier of the Year in the Early Childhood Development (ECD) category for providing outstanding services and product. The awards were announced at a glamorous gala dinner held at Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand on Wednesday 1 July 2015.

The award ceremony, hosted by CliffCentral.com’s Gareth Cliff, formed part of the ninth annual SABC Education African EduWeek, which took place on 1-2 July 2015. Over 3 500 teachers and education professionals in attendance had the opportunity to attend free training and development seminars, and explore the latest classroom technologies and services.

“We are overwhelmed by this achievement and feel honoured that the judges consider Clamber Club as a leading supplier in the field of Early Childhood Development (ECD) in South Africa,” comments Liz Senior, Occupational Therapist and Founder of Clamber Club. The judges applauded Clamber Club’s role in promoting learning and development through movement for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. “Clamber Club won this award for focussing on critical developmental areas in ECD,” commented one judge.

The awards showcased the most innovative and life-changing projects, organisations, companies, teachers and education professionals who have been responsible for pioneering new frontiers, inspiring others and achieving growth in education in Africa.

“To each of our franchisees and staff members, thank you for your hard work and dedication. We would also like to commend our fellow nominees for the important work they are doing in the ECD space in South Africa: Prima Interactive, MIB Technology, and Tools for School,” says Senior.

“We feel privileged to work in the field of ECD and through our promotion of learning through movement and the development of exciting products for children of all ages, we are proud to be playing a small part in developing the future leaders of our country,” she concludes.
