BIG SAVE Group and ABI partner to make customers win BIG!

Frans Mdluli  was the ecstatic winner of the ABI Win A Bakkie promotion in partnership with Big Save on the 26th February 2016. The draw for the Nissan NP200 Bakkie took place at Big Save Evaton, where the five finalists from each Big Save store gathered to find out if they were the lucky winner.

The competition was held at each Big Save Stores last year, where shoppers had to buy 5 cases or more of Coca-Cola and fill in an entry form to enter. A finalist from each Store was drawn and contacted to be present at Big Save Evaton for the final draw.

When asked how he felt about winning the Bakkie, Mdluli commented: "I feel so happy! I am very excited and I cannot wait to take my new baby home." Mdluli is a trader who purchases all of his stock from the wholesale department of The Big Save Hammanskraal Store.

Mdluli was not the only winner for the day. Big Save Evaton together with ABI held another competition during the morning, where shoppers could also win a total of R10 000 in shopping vouchers. All they had to do was spend R200 or more to qualify, with the draw taking placing that day just before the main ABI Win a Bakkie draw. Seven very happy customers walked away with shopping vouchers, first place valued at R3000, second place at R2 000 and another five R1000 shopping vouchers to spend at Big Save.

Tony Ferreira, Operations Director for the Big Save group was present on the day. "This is how we like to reward our loyal customers," Ferreira commented and went on to mention that Big Save cares for the community. “We would like to assist in making the lives of our shoppers as easy as possible and help them have as much disposable income as they can by saving on grocery costs.”

It has been an exciting year so far for Big Save with many plans for the future of giving back. The recent AMA KLAP KLAP ™ promotions have been exceptionally well received, where massive price reductions have seen shoppers flocking to the Big Save Stores for the one day promotions.

More massive giveaways are planned throughout the year with a strong focus on the communities.
